Frank Kimball Museum
The Frank Kimball House Museum, built in 1868 and now part of Heritage Square, is the preserved Italianate Victorian home of city founder Frank Kimball and his wife Sara. The museum displays original and period furnishings, paintings, and family artifacts that illustrate early National City life and the Kimballs’ pivotal role in regional development. The house remains one of the South Bay’s oldest structures and conveys local history through its architecture and curated interior exhibits.
